Import seasons calendar & planner.
The dates that decide when Egyptian importers must order from China — and a planner that works backwards from the day you need the goods.
Ramadan 2027 meets Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year falls on 6 February 2027, and Ramadan is expected to begin in the same week. Chinese factories slow down from late January and restart gradually through February — so goods for Ramadan 2027 need to finish production and ship before the shutdown. For most products that means confirming orders in October–November 2026.

Plan backwards from your date
Quick picks:
Defaults are typical public figures, not commitments: published sea schedules from Chinese ports to Alexandria are often around 24–35 days port to port, longer with transshipment. Adjust every value to your supplier and route.
