How much does it cost to ship a 20ft container from China to Egypt?
There is no fixed price: ocean freight rates change constantly, sometimes weekly, depending on the ports of loading and arrival, the season, the shipping line, and space availability. Charges in China and in Egypt are added to the freight itself. Share the port of loading, the type of goods, and the timing, and we will prepare a custom quotation with the details.

Should I choose sea or air freight?
Sea is the economical choice for large quantities and heavy goods, but it takes weeks. Air is much faster and more expensive, and suits urgent, light, or high-value goods, samples, and spare parts. Air is charged on the greater of actual and volumetric weight. Both need an ACID.
Can I ship less than a full container?
Yes, through LCL: your goods share a container with other shipments and you pay by volume or weight. It suits first orders and small recurring shipments, with extra time for consolidation and unloading.

What’s the difference between LCL and FCL?
FCL is a full container for you alone at a fixed price per container, with less handling and more control over timing. LCL is space in a shared container charged by volume, with extra consolidation and unloading steps. FCL often becomes cheaper as your volume approaches half a container or more, but compare both with your own numbers.

Can I combine goods from several factories in one container?
Yes, goods from several suppliers in China can be consolidated into one container through a consolidation warehouse. Mind ACI, though: an ACID is issued per bill of lading, and when exporter or importer details differ between the house bills in a consolidated shipment, each house bill needs its own ACID. Plan this with your suppliers in advance.
